Most folks think fisherman are liars, I think they’re storytellers. Growing up in a family of fly-fisherman means storytelling is in my DNA, so is stretching the truth. It’s like my grandfather says, “every good story deserves a little embellishment.” But at the end of the day, it’s not about the size of the fish, it’s about the size of the heart of the fisherman telling the story.
My experience in the film industry is diverse. I’ve traveled the world with my camera working on television shows, documentaries and commercials. My first job was as a Director/DP chasing brown bears across Alaska, Moose across the Yukon and lions in the bush of Tanzania. It was an experience I’ll never forget, yet I found myself drawn to smaller authentic moments away from the hunt.
Today you'll find me shooting commercials, writing screenplays or wondering the banks of a river, looking for rising trout.
